Today I am thankful for my mom's job. Not just because she likes it and because she is gainfully employed. But because when I found out that the letter(s) of the week were "x" and "y" my heart sank. Each week the kids in Addison's class have a letter and they have to bring something that starts with that letter for the sound table. So far, we've brought plenty of things including olives, a drill, zebra print pants, a snake, etc. What can a kid bring for "x" or "y". Well, when your grandma works in an oral surgeon's office you can bring an x-ray of your grandma's teeth. Game on!
Dear God, thank you for a solution today. Thank you for not exhausting us in figuring this out today. Thank you for Nama's job. Amen.
