Day 49 - Adrienne Elizabeth

Today I am thankful for Adrienne. She's one of my dearest friends.  She has been there for me through all sorts of different phases of life.  When I struggled to struggled to adjust in both high school and college she was there for me.  When I need someone to talk to I know I can pick up the phone and Adrienne will listen. 

We first met in second grade when our dad's coached our soccer team together - we were awful!  I don't think we really stayed in contact - but when we encountered each other again at the end of eighth grade something clicked. 

Adrienne has been involved in a large number of major events in my life - she managed most details of our wedding --- and made sure we had a most perfect day.  She also helped deliver our first baby.  It has been such an honor to be a part of Adrienne's life.  She is the kind of person who love you with her whole heart...no matter what.  She follows her dreams and stands for what she believes in.  I am so thankful for her - in more ways than I can count.

Dear Father - Thank you for Adrienne.  Thank you for her honesty, her integrity, her compassion, her love.  But thank you most of all for her friendship.  Thank you for providing someone in my life that loves me unconditionally.  Amen.
