Today I am thankful for ponytail smiles. This morning I might have threatened to cut Addison's hair short if we had one more morning where we fought about brushing it out. I know, threatening is not terribly effective. This might have resulted in her crying and saying she didn't want boy-hair like her sister. However, look what Momma can do with Olive's "boy-hair".
And she's smiling. I am thankful for happy girls, for long hair (even when it causes a major morning blow-up) and that someday both of my girls will do their own hair.
Dear Father - thank you for all the things that make little girls what they are. Thank you for smiles, for ponytails, for painted nails, tutus and giggles. Amen.
