Today I am thankful for plans that have materialized. Jeff and I have another couple that we are pretty good friends with. However, we've always had a hard time finding the right time to get together - busy lives. This is the kind of couple you can laugh with, just sit around with, read the Sunday paper and have coffee with. We haven't been able to get together for a couple of months but we talked last night and it's going to happen this weekend. When Jeff and I called our favorite sitter she was available! It's a great thing to look forward to! Thank God for plans with friends, for a babysitter we trust and a fun end to our weeks!
Dear God, thank you for placing Chad and Michelle in our lives. Thank you for the role they play in our house and in our family. Thank you for Casey and for providing in her someone we can trust to take care of our children. Thank you for the many blessings you provide - but thank you tonight, for a bright spot at the end of our weeks. Amen.
