Day 60 - Baseball in March

Baseball in March is a good thing. To me it means more than the fact that we are in Arizona.  It means that opening weekend is a month away.  Let's be honest here...I like baseball.  But I LOVE spring.  To me, even though the weather at home is still dismal this is something that brings us one day closer to green grass, hostas sprouting up out of the ground, digging holes for the impatiens, and fragrant lilacs and peonies.  I am so thankful for a day with my girls and their daddy at the baseball park in March...it was fun, Addison made us laugh, Olive was her normal laid back self and we even had a couple cold beverages - works for me!

Dear Father - thank you for a reminder today that we are one day closer to spring. Thank you for the sunshine, the family time and the baseball game.  You are an amazing God and I thank you for the reminder of that today. Amen.
