Day 59 - No Agenda

Our vacation has taken an interesting twist.  As I mentioned previously we brought the flu bug from MI to AZ.  Unfortunately, we have passed it along.  What can I say, we're good at sharing.  Nana was out for the count today.  Daddy too.  No definitive yet on Papa.  Today however, was a day that had no agenda for the girls and I.  Addy and I painted, we played golf on the patio, and played all sorts of other games.  We went to lunch with Papa, we went to the pool with Papa.  I started a new book.  It was a day with no agenda.  We don't do that very often.  Even when we're home I am pretty known for cramming everything I can into a day.  It felt really good to just go with the flow.  I probably wouldn't have done it if it weren't for the flu-bug.  Now, let's not get confused and think I am thankful for the bug.  I am thankful for the day it brought us and I might not have had otherwise.

Dear Father.  Thank you for allowing me to take a look at unfortunate circumstances and find the positive in it.  Thank you for allowing the girls and I a day without a schedule, a to-do list, or a single task that HAD to be accomplished.  Thank you for allowing us to see little spots of you throughout this day.  Please heal Daddy and Nana's bodies and please protect Papa's.  We've got important things to do tomorrow - Cub's Spring Training!  Amen.
