Addison's Boyfriend

Addison and Austin have been infatuated with each other since they first met. Austin quickly learned how to say "My Addy" and now that Addison has entered the lovely stage where she thinks she owns the world she has begun with the "My Austy"ies. They have had a couple of fun days this month. Early on in March Jessi watched Addison for us for a day and took the kids to the Fred Meijer Botanical Gardens to see the butterfly exhibit. Last weekend Jessi and I spent an outrageous amount of money and took them to see Playhouse Disney Live! Picture this, Jessi and I are walking up to the performance hall and we have too small children holding our hands (and each others) and engaging in a very heated debate about who owned Handy Manny's tools. This sort of debate continued into the show, "my candy" "no my candy" and into the evening....which resulted in their first physical altercation....over the Chicky Chair. The Chicky Chair is Addison's Bean Bag chair that is designed to look like a little chick. Have I mentioned that Addison thinks she owns the whole world? She had a hard time sharing. I think someone hit the other and someone pushed the other and there certainly was some tug-of-war going on. However, I quickly became the bad guy when I took the chair away from them and threw it down the stairs and closed the gate. My lesson learned: my child has a flair for drama.

Tonight Addison and Austy are going to see a hockey game. We are going to the Griffin's game tonight. Here are a few pictures of the little couple.
