The holidays are over! As you can see from my lack of posting (since early DECEMBER!) things were a little hectic for the Ekloves over the holidays. We had lots going on - we finished swim lessons, we had Nana's birthday, Jeff's birthday, Oma had her surgery and recovered very quickly and very well, Drew returned home from Finland, we had a family Christmas in Detroit, we did not make it to Chicago due to the weather, we had a few visit with Aunt Lindsey, Uncle Jaffer, Aunt Adrienne and Carl, we baked, we watched movies, we ate, etc!
Here are a few pictures

Jeff and Addison at swimming lessons. She had six of them - and it was not a terribly fun experience for the first five weeks. Everytime she was asked to do something she would yell, "NO!" and refuse to do it unless it was what she wanted to do....which by the way the only thing she enjoyed doing was jumping in. Now, this was frustrating for us because Addison LOVES the pool. She gets so excited every time we go and always wants to go! And I am probably understating how terrible she was at the lessons because it was a month ago and I have had some time to forget it buut literally, I dreaded each one! However, the last one was worth it. She did not yell "No" at all and she even figured out how to blow bubbles! It almost made me want to sign her up for the next session! We've decided not to do swimming again until late spring and to find a tumbling class in the meantime.

Addison and Mommy at Tower family Christmas

Addison in her Christmas outfit with Mommy's pearls. Wearing Mommy's pearls was a diversion from a major meltdown about not having her ears pierced and not being able to have "ear pretties."

Addison taking some time to just hang out with her Pa.

Addison getting all bundled up to manage the snow....I made the hat!

Addison's holiday pictures as well. Our family friend Sue Crabtree took them and she did a FABULOUS job! We would HIGHLY recommend her!
Addison has been missing her Nana and Papa a lot lately - as they have been in Arizona since the beginning of November. However, she won't have to be lonely much longer! We leave on Friday for a trip to Arizona and California....while in California Addison is going to also have the chance to meet her favorite character.....Minnie Mouse!
More to come!
