ESCAPE FROM AFRICA

Last Tuesday I took the day off. It felt really nice - and Addy and I spent lots of time together. We started by going out to breakfast, going to get the car fixed, meeting up with Namma (Addison's new name for Grandma Satterley), going to the pottery place to paint a gift, going to the hot dog place, taking a nap and then going to ADDISON'S FIRST MOVIE! We saw - Madagascar 2 - ESCAPE FROM AFRICA. I was a bit hesitant - but I figured - it's the middle of the day - if she's terrible and loud - not many people will be there. I had nothing to worry about. She was fantastic. The first hour she sat on her seat in between Namma and I and watched - and loved it. Mind you, she was also shoving popcorn in her face the whole time. Then the rest of the movie she stood up in front of her seat and danced. Everytime something scary happened she would stand up and yell "UH-OH!" and point at the screen. She cracks me up. She also had to bring her new stuffed Minnie Mouse doll. When she realized it was cold outside she got a little nervous because Minnie doesn't have a coat. So we shoved Minnie inside her coat and then she got to put Minnie in her cupholder at the movies so she had her own seat. It was a great day!
