About a week ago - I don't know if Jeff asked me why or if I just realized it....but I was waking up cranky (not that this is entirely new - but more so that normal). So...I started problem solving. I mean that's my job. People come to me with problems and we problem solve. And I decided we need to do a bedroom remodel. The first thing I see in the morinng is the hole in the ceiling. I mean - I'm pretty much blind as a bat - and the white ceiling is rather blurry - but then I see this dark spot. About the size of a penny. And it screams at me, "hahaha! I'm the only thing you can see right now!" From the hole in the ceiling to the duvet cover we once spent $300 on and is now destroyed after a baby and a dog. And it makes me mad. Last weekend Jeff and I looked for duvet covers...because you can't pick paint out until you have your duvet. And every place we went I hated them. I had in my mind this green and chocolate brown theme.
Well, I ordered a new duvet cover and pillow shams - and as soon as they get here we will paint and do curtains. (I never even put up curtains in my bedroom and I have aluminum blinds. I hate aluminum blinds but because my windows are over six feet wide I would have to special order new wood blinds....and that costs at least $500 - which I refuse to spend).

So....I am going to take some pictures tonight of what the bedroom looks like and I will post them (as long as nobody makes comments that are negative!) - and then we will post them and our progress as it occurs!
