Thank God it's FRIDAY!

Doesn't it seem like sometimes the short work weeks seem much longer than a normal week? I think that's because you have a whole extra day's worth of work to squeeze in somewhere else. Well...the week started out great. On Sunday we went to Chicago for Angela's graduation open house and she announced her engagement to Mark - her long time beau! Yeah! On Monday Addison and I went to a flea market with Aunt Dee. Which was somewhat amusing, since I don't really do flea markets. Deanna and I were counting all the reasons why I don't once we got there - here are the top five:

1. Your feet get really dirty

2. There is a lot of junk there

3. There are outhouses

4. The food is REALLY expensive! (c'mon $3.50 for a corndog? I can buy a box of twenty of
them for less than ten dollars at Sam's Club!)

5. It's really hot and you have to lug everything you have bought to the car (between Deanna and I we bought three pieces of furniture).

However, I did find some really neat things including a miniature rocking chair and a kitchen pantry cabinet to refinish. Later in the day we had a cook out had a sneak preview of what our vacation at the beach house may look like! We have rented a house in Grand Haven for a week in August with Deanna and Jim, Jessi and Austin, Melanie, Nate and their girls, Mikayla and Alana. Busy!

Addison had her doctor's appointment last Thursday and she is 25.5 inches tall and 14lbs 1 ounce. She has rolled over a few more times, but from her back to her tummy - not from her tummy to her back. She is eating bananas off a spoon and this weekend we are going to try carrots. Yummy. Last weekend Jeff and I went out and bought a blender/food processor so we can make our own baby food for Addy - should be interesting. One week later - it is out of the box and on the counter - still unused. :)

Let's see...HAPPY BIRTHDAY to LINDSEY and MICHELLE! I didn't forget this year! And HAPPY BIRTHDAY to AUNT JILL!

Here is one of the pictures that Miss Addison had taken a few weeks ago. Other than working on school stuff, painting my bathroom and a few other errands one of my goals for this weekend is to keep working on Addison's scrapbook - I haven't touched it since she was three weeks old. Whoops.

Love everyone and hope everything is going well for everyone!

She is getting cuter all the time! And I know what you mean about the scrapbook. I wanted to 1 page a month, but that hasn't happened! The next kid probably won't even get one.

So, you forgot a couple key moments at the flea market that I feel NEED to be mentioned :)

1. There were two teenagers walking around the flea market (yes, the nasty, dirty, country flea market) in string bikinis, shorts and stiletto heels. NOT APPROPRIATE!!!

2. There was also woman walking aroung with her shirt pulled up and breast feeding her child...are you kidding me!?!?!?!?

3. Addison was absolutely wonderful while we were shopping. She conducted herself extremely ladylike. She also adopted a new Aunt B :)

Overall, I loved the experience of the flea market but most of all I loved spending quality time with my favorite girls in this world!

I love you both!
