Just getting started here...

Jeff and I thought that we would try to find a way to make sure that we are able to keep everyone in touch with the new milestones we are reaching everyday! There are so many of you that we love - who are not right here with us everyday - and we wanted to make sure that we found a way to stay in touch with you. We are hoping that this blog allows the distance between us to seem a little smaller.

As most of you know Addison Rein joined the Eklove clan on January 25th at 10:55pm. She weighed in at 7 pounds 3 ounces. She has been an absolute pleasure to watch as she grows! We are all learning new things everyday...And are all working on adjusting to our new roles...I would say that Autumn Louise, our furry princess, is having the most difficult time adjusting. However, she has come a very long way.

Jeff took two and a half weeks off of work to make sure that we were all doing well -and he did a fantastic job taking care of us! Laundry, cooking, cleaning, late night feedings, errands, dirty diapers...he did it all! He has recently returned to work at VanderArk and is having fun with his little boys there...but looks forward to coming home to all of his girls... I have not yet returned to work...and won't be until the end of April! Addison, Autumn and I are trying to find a routine...but we have done this in a very slow, gradual manner. However, as we watch Addison grow...we figure we are doing something right!

Anyways, we will keep you all updated on the events going on in the Eklove household! We love you all!

We certainly agree with Gramme. Since we can't be with you on a regular basis, this will help to provide our Nana/Papa fix as best it can. We already miss you and can't wait to see you. xxoo Nana and Papa Eklove

I love seeing Addison any way that I can...now I can see her from the comfort of my own home :) I love you guys and can't wait to see "Her Pigginess" grow into the likeness of her parents.
