Introducing "The Great Ones" and the Love of the Game

What a day! Addison had many firsts today...her first road trip, her first introduction to her GREAT Grandpa, her Great Aunt Jill, Great Uncle Scott and Great Uncle Bill, and her first hockey game...as we headed to Ann Arbor with Grandma for the day. Whew. As a child I called my Great Grandpa "The Great One" as I didn't quite understand what the difference between he and my Grandpa were...Well, now it is Grandpa's chance to be a "GREAT ONE" to Addison and as he pointed out...Addison is a "GREAT ONE" as well.

Addison was also introduced to the "Love of the Game" as she went to a Mahoning Valley Phantoms hockey game to watch her Unckie Drew. Her Pops spent most of the game holding her and explaining the game.








Addison was a great traveler...she slept and slept and slept in the car...and then she most definitely did not want to sleep when we got home...she wanted to play with her Daddy! She missed him and couldn't understand why he had to sleep (he had to work at six thirty this morning!)
