Six years ago I asked for an espresso machine. And I got it. End of story. Until today. Today we figured out how to use it. We made two Red Eyes (an Eklove favorite) and then two "magic milks" topped with whipped cream. I am so thankful for the fact that our life shows some visible signs of slowing. My gratitude isn't really about specialty coffee drinks but the type of home we are trying to have.
Dear God, thank you for a Sunday that allowed for family time, celebrating Grandma Diane Day, and time to connect over coffee. Amen.
