We have the entire Little People Nativity set. But for about a week we had the entire set Except Mary and Joseph. They were missing and we couldn't find them anywhere. While it was making me somewhat crazy (not sure why, but that sort of thing does) we made a joke out of it and told Addison that Mary and Joseph went on vacation. We were pretty certain that Olive sent them on their vacation. Sure enough, on Friday Olive comes plodding into the kitchen with Joseph in her hand. So, apparently Mary was not feeling rested enough to return. Hey, we take what we can get. However, yesterday Olive decided that it was time for Mary to return, and POOF! There she was! We think she may have hidden them in the lamp?!? Not sure how, but Jeff saw where Mary came from and we literally looked EVERYWHERE else! Needless to say, I am thankful that Mary and Joseph have both returned and Baby Jesus' family is intact.
Dear God, thank you for a little kid who makes us chuckle. Thank you for a slightly older one who goes with the flow and thank you for the safe return of Mary and Joseph. Amen.
