Addy has a chore chart. Everyday she is responsible for getting dressed, making her bed, cleaning her room, getting her hair done, brushing her teeth and feeding her dog and then she gets one more area to focus on. This week we are focusing on going above and beyond. This morning after I got out of the shower and went back in our bedroom I noticed something. Our bed was made. And there was Addy looking pretty pleased with herself. I was pretty proud of the peanut. However, I think where both girls went above and beyond today as I dragged them to Nordstrom's Rack, tj maxx, kohls, Macy's, gap, banana republic, and NY and Co. Not a single whine or complaint!
Dear God, thank you for good natured girls and for a four year old who underdtands what it means to go above and beyond. Amen.
