Stella. Tonight Jessi and I went to Stella. This is a restaurant in the old state hospital in Traverse City. It gets great reviews. Here's the deal...have you ever seen Shutter Island? Creeeepy. The food was good, maybe not great, but the vibe was kind of chilling. Maybe it's because of my awareness about mental health and what would happen in facilities like that. But I can say I am thankful for the experience. And that now I can say I have gone and don't ever need to go back.
Dear Father, thank you for a new experience. Thank you for time spent with a good friend. Thank you for a reminder that the mental health field has come a long way, but that we still have a long ways to go. Amen.
