Tonight as I was picking up the girls from Nana and Papa I got a phone call that ultimately resulted in needing coverage for daycare from 4-5pm tomorrow night. In a "patchwork" daycare setup that we have this is something that happens from time to time, so I quickly ran through my options in my head....and before I know it, Nana had solved this for me and had offered to cover the hour. Please don't think that I was implying that a patchwork system is anything less than the best- we have depth, it keeps our costs down, it gives our girls time with Grandparents. But today, it was wonderful to have a simple, easy solution! Nana and Papa have helped us out so many times, especially in the last couple of weeks. For them, their willingness, and the relationships they have with the girls, I am thankful!
Dear Lord, thank you for a Nana and a Papa that have special relationships with their grandkids. For grandparents that are willing to get down on the ground and play, who are healthy and a strong presence on our lives. We are so thankful! Amen!!
