Today felt like a bonus. The holiday weekend was over and everyone was back at work. Except me! I decided about a month ago it might be nice to extend a long weekend by one day so I signed up for a vacation day for today. Best idea. Ever. Today we went to swim lessons, ran two quick errands and then headed back to the pool for the afternoon. Complete bonus day!
Dear Father, thank you for just one more day, thank you for extra time with the kids, thank you for a little bit of time for myself, thank you for a family dinner and for a fresh start tomorrow. Amen.
