Tonight I am thankful that Addison is in bed. We had a rough end to our day, she had a hard time listening, I had a hard time not raising my voice and I can't say that either of us enjoyed the last hour we had together. I am going to go one step further and say that the reason I am thankful about this is not because our evening ended, but because I know that tomorrow we can start fresh. Thank the Lord.
Dear God, thank you for giving me just enough patience to get through the evening and thank you for giving Addison just enough energy to listen. Thank you more for fresh starts tomorrow morning. Amen.
