Today I am thankful for a few minutes. My girlfriend Stacey and I both have two little kids four and under. And we each have jobs, and we each have spouses - and currently we live hundreds of miles apart from each other. Stacey and I met at Alma, went to Peru together, planned our weddings together, supported each other through graduate school and now just through life in general. However, we were able to catch each other on the phone for about ten minutes today. It could have been longer but we each had things going on and kids needing things....but I am thankful for the few minutes we had today.
Dear Father - thank you for giving me a few minutes of time to chat with Stacey today. Thank you for what her friendship provides for me overall. Thank you. Amen.
