Today I am thankful for the fact that I do not have to make dinner on Tuesday nights. It is Jeff's school night and the girls are with my mom on Tuesdays during the day. So, every Tuesday either my mom makes dinner or we go out. For this, I am thankful. Tonight I enjoyed a wonderful chicken piccata, and I didn't have to even think about it!
Dear Father - thank you for this weekly ritual that relieves a duty from my list. Thank you for this spot in my week. Amen.
