Jeff and I bought our condominium with a five year plan in mind. We are now entering year seven. It is what it is. We would have never predicted the housing market doing what it did, but we've come up with a great reframe. Our really cheap mortgage allows us to do things that we wouldn't be able to do if we were sinking a larger percentage of our income into a larger mortgage payment. However, today I was reminded of one more thing I love about our house besides our really cheap mortgage. I love my magnolia tree. I absolutely love it. And I am thankful for the reminder, and the tree iteself.
Dear God, thank you for demonstrating your beauty right in my very own front yard. Thank you for allowing the tree to re-organize my thoughts about our home. Thank you for my beautiful tree. Amen.
