Day 92 - Terri

Terri is a woman I work with.  She works in customer service and in a small business this typically means many differnet things.  My job has been kind of crazy.  Specifically, scheduling.  For some reason - our slower time of year (February and March) was not slower.  My appointments are scheduled out until the end of the month already.  So, when I've had to move things around because life happens it has been more challenging than normal.  Today was a day when that happened.  I ran Olive to the pediatrician on my lunch hour.  After an ineffective breathing treatment ruled out asthma Dr. J let us know he wanted us to go for a chest x-ray, today.  O---kay.... Sure.  I had 3pm and 4pm clients and it was already 2:20.  And I had to do what most nursing moms use their lunch hour for....This is the sort of stuff that can send me into a tailspin.  This is when my anxiety skyrockets because no matter how good I am, I can only be in so many places at once.  So, all it took was a phone call to Terri and I had a plan.  She took care of my 4pm - called the client moved them to tomorrow, which by the grace of God was available and had it all taken care of before I could even get back to the office.  She's the kind of lady that you can trust to take care of the details.  Thank God for Terri.

Dear Father - thank you for placing Terri in my life.  Thank you for the privilege to work with an extraordinary woman.  Thank you for her sense of humor, her dependability and her steadfast work.  Amen.
