day 111 - oma's great

Today was a special day for Elizabeth Emma Rein Eklove.  It was her SURPRISE 90th birthday party.  I am thankful for this for many reasons -
1. She's an incredible lady who deserves celebration
2. I am blessed that my children know her
3. I am thankful for everything she does for her family

I could go on and on....but I am not sure that there are words that encapsulate the spirit of this incredible woman.  Her story is one of strength and honor, one of integrity, grit and grace.  Today I am thankful for the joy that she had when she was surrounded by her entire family. 

Dear Father - thank you for the blessings you have bestowed upon Elizabeth Eklove - and the blessing she has been to each of us that are touched by her.  Thank you for the grace you show us all.  Amen.
