Day Thirteen - grocery shopping (sans children)

This evening I went grocery shopping, by myself.  I put Olive to bed and left Jeff and Addison watching Snow White and went to the grocery store.  I loved it.  I didn't have to re-track back through the grocery store when I realized that I missed something because I was looking for a pacifier as I walked passed it, or because I was chatting with Addison. It really is the simple things that I am learning to appreciate through this process.  Grocery shopping in a cart that I don't have to squeeze the food around a massive infant seat or reminding someone that if they are good they can have a vanilla milk from Starbucks.  Not a bad Friday night.

God, thank you for aligning my day that I was not able to get to the store this afternoon.  Thank you for giving me an hour and a half in my night to enjoy this usually dreaded task.  Thank you for continuing to shed blessings upon me.  Amen.
