I am so thankful that both of my kids love the water. We just spent the night up at Great Wolf Lodge. With Olive being so young (and Addy being so daring) we knew this could be tricky. We asked Nama to come with us and figured if we outnumbered them we'd be good...plus, we like her company!
There was nothing to be worried about. Olive napped in the lazy river, she played in the water and not once in the whole 8 hours we were in the water park did she so much as cry. Happy as a clam. Addison loved the waterslids, the lazy river, everything. She declared this her best birthday EVER! I love my waterbabies.
Dear God, thank you for giving us the opportunity to get away for a little mid-winter break to celebrate the birth of your gift to us. Thank you for giving us a wonderful time, thank you for allowing us to reflect your work in this and us. Amen.
