The value of a dollar...

Jeff and I were driving home from running some errand this afternoon. Yesterday we both bought running shoes at Kohls...and because of the Labor Day sale we got a $20 gift card for spending what we did...it was one of those deals that you had to use with in a certain time frame. So today I ran in while Jeff stayed in the car because Addy had fallen asleep. Five minutes later I came out very excited to have gotten Addison's fall jacket for only $4.77 after the gift card.

Five minutes later Jeff is telling me about how even after losing his American Express endorsement Tiger Woods is making approximately one hundred million dollars a year. We then figured that he makes approximately $270,000 a day...$11,000 an hour...$189 a minute...$3.15 a second. We then realized that Tiger Woods makes our annual salaries combined in less than seven hours, that he makes as much as I do in an entire day in one minute. I threw up in my mouth.

I didn't want to think about it anymore...and Jeff decided to be Mr. Funnyguy. He pointed out that if his wife asked Tiger to pick up a gallon of milk...he couldn't say "I don't have any money..." because by the time he responded he has made enough money to buy a gallon of milk.

Crazy. But...I wouldn't trade where I am at for anything.
