So I thought I would share a story that any Mom could appreciate. Most Dads will appreciate this as well. Jessi picked up Austin from daycare last week. Austin's daycare is fantastic. In fact this is where Addison is going to go on Tuesdays when Nana and Papa go to Arizona for the winter. Well, Char, the woman who runs the daycare loves the heck out of Austin and runs an amazing daycare. When Jessi picked the Doodleman up last week Char had to hand Jess an incident report. Our friends from Wedgwood will recall that an incident report is filled out when protocol is not properly followed or when a child is injured. As I mentioned, Char runs a pretty tight ship...so Jessi's incident report contained the latter...a child was injured. Only it wasn't Austin.
Austin bit the mean girl at daycare. She had the toy he wanted so he bit her. We all had a talk this weekend with Austin. Which included Aunt Sara biting her own arm and saying "No." Well, this resulted in Austin shaking his head no like I was nuts and walking away.
Jessi's concern is that the mean girl wasn't doing anything to him when he bit her, but has agreed that it may be a result of the fact that Austin is teething again. Jeff and I hypothesized that it was just residual from all of the mean things she has done. As long as he doesn't become a serial biter Waddibear can keep her boyfriend...After all, Aunt Jessi is still demanding her dowry...
