Deep Breath, Inhale...Exhale...

These are things that we need to remind ourselves of sometimes...it's been so busy that we've almost had to remind ourselves to breathe! I wrapped up my winter semester and officially only have ONE CLASS LEFT! This was also my first week back to work fulltime. It was exhausting - I went to bed at eight thirty on Wednesday! Addison has continued to sleep through the night on most nights (Thanks heavens!) - with the occassional night time bottle. And as you can see from the picture above Addy has continued to have lots of playtime and time to lay back and relax...

Addison's "special friend" Austin has turned one! Addison will be attending her first birthday party tomorrow. So Addy went shopping for Austin's present with her Aunt Deanna today while mom and dad were at work and came home with a Cozy Coupe and a Little Tikes gas pump. Addison will have to wait a few years before Austin will be allowed to take her for a cruise in his car - but we thought that this was a good start to ensuring safe driving skills! Addison also got a special present for Austin from just her - a book called "I love you through and through." Ahhh...young love. And what mom's will do for the babies in their life...I am attempting at this moment to bake a cake in the shape of a "1" - knowing full well that Austin will smash it before most people will even see it tomorrow!

Addison has been diagnosed with reflux...we are trying some things over the weekend to hopefully reduce her discomfort - but will start medication next week if these other things don't work. The doctor suggested adding rice cereal to Addison's bottles - which she seems to be enjoying thoroughly! When we were at the doctor this week we found out that Addy weighs FOURTEEN pounds!

Nana and Papa are due home from Phoenix in one week and we are very excited to see them and wish them safe travels as they drive cross country! Lots of love!

Ewan is a little disappointed that Addison already has a "special friend." He can't wait to meet her.

Hey you guys- Addison is looking cuter and cuter. BTW- my niece Lauren (5 mo. old) has reflux too. She has medicine that they give her when she needs it, but is growing out of it. Hope all is well!

Addison is growing up too fast!!! I can't believe that she is sitting...even if it is with the help of her special chair. Austin and Addison are lucky to have found each other at such an early age...I had to wait 26 years:) Let Addison know that her Aunt D is praying that she feels better very soon and that I am looking forward to spending time with her TWO days this week!

Luv you guys,
Deanna
